A chef's ethos often addresses food insecurities and ensuring
everyone has access to nutritious meals.
By engaging with the community and promoting
food education, chefs play a crucial role in
nurturing both the body and spirit of the
community, striving to eliminate hunger
and provide equitable food access for all.
We will be creating a cornbread dish to be served to
375 guests at a fundraiser dinner to help support the
“Feed well Fridge” project. You can learn more
about this project at www.feedwellfridge.org
Who may sign up for this cooking project:
Your Jr chef must be at least 10 years old, and be currently
or recently a student of our weekly classes.
This is important because of the quantity
of recipes we are turning out in a short time.
Experience in our kitchen and with our standards is imperative.
This is limited to 6 students at this point,
if further need arrises it will be added.
We hope to continue offering community
service opportunities to our program.
This will take the place of our monthly super saturday-
September 27th 1-2:30pm is our cooking window.
Chef Arlena will deliver the finished dishes to the
event at 3pm and the event starts at 4:30.
