This will be our third year of having a simple float in the PBO parade (Gingerbread theme) and having our Jr chefs marching along side handing out treats and gifts.
We struggled to keep up with the parade last year because of how many people were out and how few students we had to help us.
We hope to have a dozen or more jr chefs wearing aprons and walking along side us.
It is a two mile walk and we have be able to have kids as young as 6 join us.
The city requires forms to be completed. You can see them here by using the arrows on the side of this flyer. You can then sign the form that says you have read them when you bring your student to class in November and December.
The parade will be December 13th and it starts at 3pm, however we need to be in the parade field by 2:30pm at the latest and they close the street down at 2pm so you may have to walk to the parade field (behind Food Lion in downtown Pittsboro)
We will walk all the way down past our school along West street (Where anyone is welcome to pick up a cup of hot chocolate -free or use the bathrooms) the end of the route is 2 blocks past the school on the left hand side of the road.
Parents of mini chefs (3-6 years) are welcome to join with their mini chefs in wagons and strollers.
