This will be the 3rd year we have participated in the Christmas parade in downtown PBO and it is always a blast. Sometimes it is balmy and sunny and other times we all huddle up at the school afterwards for hot cocoa. Regardless we enjoy the walk, the cheering crowds and gifting all the kids on the sidelines with fun trinkets.
We walk from the fair grounds behind FOOD LION PBO past our school and turn left on Fayettville st. If you have a mini chef in Pre-K interested, wagons or strollers and a parent is required. Any jr chef 6 years old or up who has been in class with us and has a green apron to wear is welcome.
The city has some paperwork you must sign in order to participate and I will forward that to you after you register. We meet at the fiar grounds at 2:30-3pm and the parade will start shortly after. WE have had as many as 6 kids walk with us any given year and it is never enough! We need more kids in order to get all the little treats to all of the people attending! Please consider walking with us this year! If not- stop by the school for some free hot cocoa!
