Join our fun parent and me sensory play group.
We learn to have fun with foods, textures and new scents that will broaden our ideas and experiences with foods helping us to develop more adventurous eating habits.
Therapists recommend sensory play to help children become better eaters by reducing fear and building familiarity with new foods in a low-pressure environment. It desensitizes children to unfamiliar textures, smells, and colors, allowing them to explore without the pressure to eat. This approach builds confidence, strengthens oral motor skills, and makes mealtimes more positive.
We have great info for parents and a fun play place. Our small group size of one parent and one child creating a low stimulation of only 6 kids and six adults per group. If this group sells out and you are interested in another group, please reach out to Chef Arlena to open another play group meeting time!
